Burrillville is a beautiful, rural community located in the northwest corner of Rhode Island approximately twenty miles from Providence, Rhode Island; fourty five miles from Boston, Massachusetts; and one-hundred and ninety miles from New York, New York. The town is comprised of eight villages that were created around the original mill complexes and most town residents still identify their neighborhood by the original mill village name whether it be Harrisville, Pascoag, Oakland, Mapleville, Glendale, Mohegan, Wallum Lake, Bridgeton or Nasonville.
